There are tons of cappuccino recipes. I generally go for the ones that use syrups. Don't be afraid to stir up your own concoctions!
Here are a few of my favorite cappuccino drinks. In case you missed it, here is the recipe for
basic cappuccino
.
Almond Cappuccino:
Froth 4 ounces of milk and almond syrup (to taste). Add a double shot of espresso to cup and fill with frothed milk. Top with a dollop of foam.
Bone Dry Cappuccino:
A single shot of espresso with a full cup of foam.
Chocolate Cappuccino:
Make a basic cappuccino except use chocolate milk for steaming/frothing. Use 1/3 espresso, 1/3 steamed chocolate milk, and 1/3 frothed chocolate milk.
Dry Cappuccino:
A single shot of espresso with 1/4 cup hot milk and 3/4 cup foam.
Iced Cappuccino:
Use at least an 8 ounce glass. Fill 3/4 with ice and to the 3/4 mark with frothed milk. Use a single shot of espresso poured over the frothed milk. Spoon foamed milk on top.
Irish Cappuccino:
To a basic cappuccino, add 1/2 oz Bailey'sŪ Irish cream.
Kerry Cappuccino :
To a basic cappuccino, add 1/2 oz Bailey'sŪ Irish cream and 1 tsp dark creme de cacao.
Milky Way Cappuccino:
A double shot of espresso, 1 part chocolate syrup and 1 part caramel syrup. Finish with steamed milk and a dollop of froth.
Mochaccino:
A single shot of espresso, chocolate syrup to taste and 4 oz. steamed milk. Top with whipped cream.
Orange Truffle Mocha:
A single shot of espresso, 1 tbs cocoa powder, 1 oz caramel syrup and 1 oz orange juice. Pour over tall glass halfway filled with ice. Fill to brim with cold milk. Stir gently.
Wet Cappuccino:
A single shot of espresso with 3/4 cup hot milk and 1/4 cup foam.
